The 4th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will be played between the Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.

Rajasthan Royals begin their campaign in the IPL 2020 on Tuesday when they clash off the 3-time champions Chennai Super Kings at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. This match will be the first game of the tournament to be hosted by Sharjah. The Super Kings began the tournament with a clinical win against the defending champions Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi. The Rajasthan Royals will be missing the services of Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes in this game.
The Sharjah is easily the best venue for the batsmen among the three venues hosting the tournament. The short boundaries are expected to improve the chances of the chasing team.
Average first innings score: 155 (Last five PSL 2019 games played in Sharjah)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 1, Lost – 4, Tied – 0

Faf du Plessis
Faf du Plessis played a key role in CSK’s victory in the last match as he put on a big partnership with Ambati Rayudu and finished unbeaten on 58 off 44 balls.
The 2019 edition was one of the poorest seasons with the bat for Robin Uthappa who scored only 282 runs in 12 games. He could be seen batting among the top three positions for RR.
Jofra Archer claimed 11 wickets during the 2019 IPL for the Rajasthan Royals that too at an economy rate well under seven.
Lungi Ngidi conceded 29 runs in the first two overs during the match against MI but bounced back with three wickets for only nine runs in his final spell of two overs.
The batting line-up of Rajasthan Royals could be in for a surprise. They do have enough options to cover up all the batting positions.
Chennai Super Kings are expected to win this game.
