Former Pakistan skipper was interacting with the fans during a Q & A session on his Twitter account. A fan asked him about the injury to Shaheen Afridi, to which he gave a cheeky reply. A fan also asked him to come out of retirement with a question on the replacement of the pacer. Afridi replied,

“Mene us ko pehle b mana Kia tha k dive mat maray, injury hosakti hai, ap fast bowler ho. Lekin bad me mene realise Kia k wo b Afridi hi hai (I told him earlier as well to not to dive, injury can happy, and you are a fast bowler. But later, I realised, he is also an Afridi.”

Another fan asked him about his choice of a replacement for the pacer in the team. Notably, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hasn’t confirmed any replacement for the 22-year-old till now. Thus, everyone is eagerly waiting for his replacement. However, the former Pakistan skipper replied that, “It depends on the selection committee. No personal favorites.”
