In a video shared by the PCB, Naseem Shah was seen with his teammate Muhammad Hasnain. When Shah came out to bat during the last over against Afghanistan, the team needed 12 to win from 6. As obvious as it may sound, Shah wasn’t confident that his bat was good enough and decided to borrow from Hasnain. Hasnain’s bat did the job for the team and with the 2 sixes, Naseem Shah became the new star boy.

Naseem Shah announces the auction of his special bat

In the video, Hasnain is seen praising Naseem over his 2 match-winning shots and explains that the bat actually belonged to him. Furthermore, he admitted that he had gifted the bat to Shah and now, it was his call to do whatever he wished to. Graciously accepting the gift, the 19-year-old bowler declared that he wanted to put up the bat for auction. Furthermore, he added that half of the amount will go to the aid of flood-affected people.
