1) Shane Watson
Shane Watson was one of the best cricketers and a T20 expert from Australia. He is the most exceptional all-rounder any team can wish for. Watson is known for his ferocious batting and bowling style. He made his debut for the Indian Premier League in 2008, the first season of the tournament, As a part of Rajasthan Royals. Watson helped his team to win the debut trophy of the tournament. He did the same thing in BBL by being a part of Sydney Thunder in the 2015-16 season.
2) Dwayne Bravo
The Jamaican blaster is known for his T20 perfection and playing style. Dwayne Bravo made his debut for the Indian Premier League in 2008 with Mumbai Indians. His IPL run with Indians was not as successful as it was with Chennai Super Kings in the later stage. Bravo helped CSK to win the IPL trophy and in 2011 he helped Sydney Sixers to score their maiden BBL trophy. 3) Moises Henriques
Moises Henriques is one of the best captains Sydney Sixers can ever wish for in BBL. He is a veteran of the tournament and has been playing BBL since its inception. In 2009, Henriques made his IPL debut with Kolkata Knight Riders. He was a young player at that time but couldn’t have a fruitful season with the team. In 2010, he joined Delhi Daredevils but couldn’t end up on the list of elite players in the tournament. In 2014, Henriques joined Sunrisers Hyderabad and became a crucial player for them. He helped SRH to win the 2016 IPL trophy. In BBL 2019 and 2020 seasons, Henriques helped Sydney Sixers to win the championship.
4) Mitchell Johnson
The prolific cricketer from Australia, Mitchell Johnson, has three trophies on his name in domestic T20 leagues. He made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians in 2012 and helped them to win the IPL trophy in 2013. Johnson had a brilliant season with Indians and dished out some dreaded spells of fast bowling. 5) Michael Hussey
Michael Hussey made his debut with Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2008 and since then he became a crucial part of the team. He played with CSK for 5 years and joined Mumbai Indians in 2014. Hussey became the second batsman to score a century in IPL, after New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum. In IPL 2013, he finished the league as the top-scoring batsman with 733 runs. Hussey helped his team CSK to win the IPL trophy, but in BBL he was not as frequent as the IPL. However, in 2015, Hussey was part of the Sydney Sixers team, which won the championship.
6) Nathan Coulter-Nile
The dedicated player of Perth Scorchers, Nathan Coulter-Nile, was part of the BBL team for seven years. He was one of the most crucial pacers for the Perth Scorchers. Nathan and his team have dominated the BBL as trophy winners for a long time. He made his debut for IPL in 2013 with Mumbai Indians. Nathan’s IPL stint was not as good as BBL. The only time he played for more than one season in IPL was for Kolkata Knight Riders from 2014-2016. But his trophy came with Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020 season. 7) Ben Cutting
Ben Cutting has been part of BBL, IPL, and CPL. The reason he was so much in demand was because of his brilliant performances in all three T20 leagues. He joined BBL in 2012 with Brisbane Heat and won the trophy in the debut season itself. In 2014, Cutting was caught the eyes of Rajasthan Royals scout and they successfully bought him to IPL. However, his performance with Rajasthan Royals was not good and the team had a terrible season. In 2016 he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad and was responsible to win the first-ever IPL trophy.
8) Pat Cummins
The Australian right-arm pacer, Pat Cummins, has not been much active in the T20 league scene. He started his BBL career in 2012 with Sydney Sixers. Cummins was not able to make a huge impact on the team in that season. He later joined Perth Scorchers and was a part of the trophy-winning team. In IPL, Cummins made his debut with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014. Again he was part of the KKR team who won the 2014 IPL trophy but had no major contribution on the field.
