BBL 2021-22: Best Moments of BBL from Sixth Week
BBL season 11 has entered its seventh week of the tournament and things are getting heated up among the teams. The race to reach the knockout stage and semi-finals is on and all the teams are trying to perform at their best. Things at the BBL point table have also changed a lot since the last week.
There is a close fight going on between Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder for the number two position in the point table. Both the teams have 31 points each and the Sixers are placed on number two as of now because of their higher net run rate. Clashes between both teams will be interesting in the upcoming days.
Perth Scorchers are comfortably placed on number one in the point table with 38 points. They are seven points ahead of Sydney Sixers and it looks like they won’t face any difficulties to reach the knockout stage. Adelaide Strikers are placed fourth on the point table with 24 points. Strikers have shown a great performance in the last week and gained some crucial points in the table.

2) First Umpiring Error in BBL Season 11
Last week during a match between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars, the Umpires and Scorchers batsman made a huge error which cost the match to Melbourne Stars. The incident took place after the tenth over before the start of the eleventh over. Scorchers batsman, Laurie Evans took guard to face the first ball despite scoring two runs off the last ball of the tenth over. Nobody on the ground noticed this huge mistake done by the batsmen. It was only the commentators who highlighted this error but it was too late to do anything by that time.
3) King Khan’s demolition of Brisbane Heat
Rashid Khan has been one the best leg spinner the world has ever witnessed. Not only in BBL, but Khan has also shown his talent for his national, IPL, and other domestic leagues which he is part of. Rashid Showed his bowling quality in his last match of BBL against Brisbane heat by taking 6 wickets at the cost of 17 runs only. Rashid became the third bowler in BBL to claim a 6 wicket haul. He stopped Brisbane heat for just 90 runs and helped Strikers to score a crucial win against their opposition. Rashid’s six-wicket haul included Lachlan Pfeffer, Sam Heazlett, Jake Lehmann, Will Prestwidge, Matthew Kuhnemann, and his Afghani teammate Mujeeb ur Rehman from Brisbane Heat.
