McDermott’s first century came on Monday in a game against Adelaide Strikers. He helped Hurricanes to chase a score of 175 runs and win the game in just 18.3 overs by scoring 110 runs in 60 balls. McDermott continued his form on Wednesday as well against Melbourne Renegades. He scored 127 runs on 65 balls with a strike rate of 195.38. His innings included 9 sixes and 9 fours.

Clarke has been consistently scoring for the team for the past few weeks. This week he helped Melbourne Stars to mark a win against Brisbane Heat. Clarke didn’t get any support from his fellow batsman except Hilton Cartwright. Sangha scored 91 runs on 55 balls with a strike rate of 165.45. The young batter helped Sydney thunders to a win in both the matches. It is expected that Sangha will get more playtime in the upcoming fixtures and that in turn will improve his game.
