The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given the green light to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) proposed schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025, according to ARY News. The PCB suggested hosting all of India’s games, including the semifinals and finals, at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

The ICC reviewed the PCB’s proposal and approved the schedule without any changes. In addition to India, the tournament will feature teams from Australia, England, South Africa, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Afghanistan.

Despite the approval, India has not yet made an official statement about its participation in the tournament, which was led by Rohit Sharma. The draft schedule indicates that the Champions Trophy will take place from February 19 to March 9 in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.

Earlier this month, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to check on construction progress for the upcoming Champions Trophy. He was accompanied by the director of international cricket and the general manager of infrastructure.

During his visit, Naqvi urged workers to operate around the clock to ensure the project is completed on time. He also instructed relevant departments to finalize the upgrade plan for Karachi’s National Stadium quickly and inspected various parts of the stadium to ensure the best conditions for international matches.
