IND vs PAK: There was a time when India and Pakistan used to play regular bilateral series in cricket. But since 2013, these two sides haven’t faced each other in any kind of series across all three formats. This is because of the tensions and political issues between the two nations. However, they play only in the ICC and multi-nation tournaments. That is why a World Cup match between the arch-rivals is always considered the highlight of the tournament. It is not just a cricket match; this is a game of emotions and excitement. Fans from both nations also get involved in the game. That was the reason why the tickets for this T20 World Cup were sold within a time frame of just five minutes. The seating capacity at the MCG is 90,000, which has been sold already. But there are a number of fans who also want to witness this mega encounter live at the stadium.

As a result, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has come up with another solution for the fans. The ICC has released 4000 standing tickets for the fans, which will cost 30 Australian dollars. The ICC confirmed the news in a press release. They said,

“The ticket release ensures that as many fans as possible can attend the fixture scheduled to be played on Sunday 23 October. A limited number of packages also remain available for purchase via the ICC Hospitality and ICC Travel & Tours programmes. Fans who miss out on tickets can still book their place, with kids tickets starting from just $5 and adult tickets from $20.”

As per the statement, the tickets will be available prior to the start of the first game on October 16. The tournament will start on October 16 and the final match will take place on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
