Usman Khawaja reached his 150 and it was soon followed by a magnificent century by Cameron Green. Green and Khawaja became the 4th Australian duo to put up a partnership of more than 200 runs on the Indian soil. “Every time we’ve seen him, he gets better and better. What’s been more impressive is the tempo he’s played at. He’s come and taken the game on. The 23-year-old player had missed out on the first two games of the Ind vs Aus series owing to injury. He came into the team after veteran opener David Warner suffered a hairline fracture and returned to Sydney.
