Aakash Chopra Reacts to Heinrich Klassen’s Spin Gameplay

The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise may not have had a great season this time but amidst this, they’ve found a rock-solid middle-order batter in the form of Heinrich Klassen. The South African batter has shown his class throughout this season by being the most consistent player on the team. His hard work finally paid off as Heinrich Klassen scored his maiden IPL century against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Batting at a strike rate of 203.92, Heinrich Klassen was very confident in his shots, hitting the bowlers for 8 fours and 6 sixes before getting out on 103. Former Indian player turned commentator Aakash Chopra in his recent video analyzed the innings of the South African batter. Aakash Chopra couldn’t stop himself from praising Klassen’s spin gameplay and called him the best overseas “spin player”.

“The way Klaasen is batting, no overseas player is playing spin better than him. In fact, he is giving a masterclass on playing against spin to every player who is playing this tournament. He is playing extremely well. In the last match, the match before that, and in this match, his play against spin was absolutely stellar. He is playing very well by using the depth of the crease. None of the other players (SRH batters) fired, that is also par for the course,” Aakash Chopra said.

While Heinrich Klassen has played a couple of IPL seasons earlier as well, the batter did not get much opportunity to bat.
