Aakash Chopra Reacts to Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir Spat
Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have a history of heated arguments over the years. Nearly a decade ago during the RCB vs KKR game, the duo indulged in an argument in the midst of the game. As history repeats itself, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were once again face to face in a heated verbal spat. While some say it began in the last Lucknow SuperGiants vs Royal Challengers Bangalore game when Gambhir celebrated the victory by shoo-ing the fans, others pointed at Naveen-Ul-Haq. However, the details are still unknown.
The videos circulated via social media show Naveen-Ul-Haq heated up while speaking to Virat Kohli during the handshake. This was followed by Gambhir taking Kyle Mayers away when he was speaking to Kohli and some more exchange of words that aggravated the matter. Nonetheless, both Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have been fined 100% of their match fees. Analyzing the post-game scenes on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said that it wasn’t right for both the players to behave in the manner they did.

Why does Virat Kohli get so angry and why is Gautam Gambhir, asks Aakash Chopra
Aakash Chopra explained that Virat Kohli is a role model for many budding cricketers and his involvement in such incidents would not leave a good impact on them. “Why does Kohli get so angry and why is Gautam Gambhir? No matter what happened in the match, what happened after the match was a bigger commotion – totally avoidable in my opinion. You have two great players, of which one is Virat Kohli, the youth icon. You look at him and want to become like him. But when he is part of a constant tussle, you want to become a player like him but what about the … – you get it, right,” Aakash Chopra said.
Speaking about the RCB vs LSG game, batting first Royal Challengers Bangalore could only reach a score of 126 runs with Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli scoring 44 runs and 30 runs respectively. The team bowled well and was successfully able to defend the total, winning the match by 18 runs. Karn Sharma and Josh Hazlewood picked up 2 wickets each and the other 4 bowlers with 1 wicket each.
