1. GT vs RCB, Mumbai, 67th Match IPL 2022

With the stellar performance, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans  played their second match against each other in IPL 2022 in Mumbai. Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to bat first and gave Royal Challengers Bangalore a target of 169. The decent score was one of the most interesting totals in the IPL 2022. David Miller and the team’s Captain Hardik Pandya scored 34 and 62 off 47 and 25 deliveries with a strike rate of 131.91 and 136 while smashing four and zero fours and three sixes each respectively.

Royal Challengers Bangalore opening batsman Virat Kohli managed a high score of 58 off 53 deliveries with a strike rate of 109.43. Rajat Patidar scored 52 off 32 deliveries with a strike rate of 162.50 while smashing five fours and two sixes. Glenn Maxwell and Mahipal Lomror scored 33 and 16 runs off 18 and 8 deliveries with a strike rate of 183.33 and 200 respectively, while smashing three and two fours and two and one sixes respectively. Royal Challengers Bangalore gave Gujarat Titans a target of 171. 

Gujarat Titans successfully chased the target and won the match in 19.3 overs by 6 wickets. Gujarat Titans team batsmen collectively put runs on the board to win the match. David Miller and Rahul Tewatia scored 38 and 43 respectively off 24 and 12 25. The team’s middle-order batting managed to score and win the game with three balls remaining. Rahul Tewatia won the Player of the Match award for his brilliant knock.
