Bhuvneshwar Kumar started off the proceedings for Sunrisers Hyderabad by getting rid of Wriddhiman Saha for a duck just in the first over. However, the early blow didn’t affect Gujarat Titans much as Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan added 147 runs for the second wicket and kept dominating the SRH bowlers.

Watch: Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s sensational final over in the GT vs SRH clash
Marco Jansen provided SRH with the much-needed breakthrough of Sai Sudharsan in the 15th over. Sai Sudharsan’s dismissal allowed Sunrisers Hyderabad to make a comeback into the game as it triggered a collapse of Gujarat Titans’ batting lineup.
Bhuvneshwar then got rid of GT skipper Hardik Pandya in the next over. However, it was the final over of GT innings bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar which inflicted the maximum damage. He took 4 crucial wickets and gave away just 2 runs to completely shift the momentum towards SRH.
The SRH pacer started the over by removing Shubman Gill and Rashid Khan off consecutive deliveries. GT opener Shubman Gill was dismissed after scoring a brilliant 58-ball 101 while Rashid was dismissed for a Golden Duck as the SRH pacer bowled some brilliant lines and lengths.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar then completed a brilliant run-out at the non-striker’s end to remove Noor Ahmad pushing GT even behind in the game as SRH got a team hat-trick. He then dismissed Mohammed Shami on the penultimate delivery of the over to complete his five-wicket haul.
The SRH pacer returned with the figures of 5 for 30 in four overs. His efforts helped SRH restrict Gujarat Titans for 188/9, who at one stage were well on course towards imposing a huge total on the board on a batting friendly wicket in Ahmedabad but couldn’t do so as they lost 4 wickets in the final over of their innings.
