KKR batter Rinku Singh emerged as one of the most consistent performers for his side in IPL 2023. Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh heaped praise on Rinku Singh as he reckons that the KKR batter might not be an uncapped player in the next IPL season.

Rinku Singh was the standout performer for Kolkata Knight Riders with the bat this season even as the Nitish Rana-led franchise failed to qualify for the playoffs. He amassed 474 runs in 14 games in IPL 2023 at an average of 59.25 and an exceptional strike rate of 149.52, with 4 half-centuries.

The KKR batter played a stellar knock in the KKR vs LSG game on May 20. His team needed 18 runs from the final 3 deliveries, and the in-form batter smashed a hat-trick of boundaries in the final over. However, Rinku’s batting heroics went in vain as Lucknow Super Giants side edged past KKR by 1 run to enter the IPL 2023 playoffs.

Earlier, Rinku Singh grabbed all sorts of limelight after the GT vs KKR game on April 9. He stunned Gujarat Titans’ pacer Yash Dayal smashing him for 5 consecutive sixes in the last over of the match to pull off an unbelievable win for his team.
