These ten are divided into two groups based on the seeding system. The system has been formulated by the number of titles won and the number of finals played. The last time when a major change in the IPL tournament took place was in 2011 and 2012. At that time as well BCCI made some changes in the format which left the IPL fans confused.

1) Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
