Sarfaraz Khan was a child prodigy and shot to prominence after scoring 439 in his maiden Haris Shield inter-school game at the age of 12. He was soon picked into the Mumbai U-19 side and that opened his doors to the India U-19 squad. He featured in the U-19 world cup in UAE at the age of 17 and scored 211 runs at an average of 70.33.

Sarfaraz rose to prominence and Royal Challengers Bangalore roped him in for INR 50 lacs for the 2015 season. He became the youngest player to play in the IPL. He turned heads when he played an unbeaten knock of 45 off 21 against the Rajasthan Royals. The impact was such that it has smitten Virat Kohli and he bowed his head as a gesture to acknowledge his knock.

Sarfaraz is a skilled batsman. Anyone can easily get smitten by his range of shots. He was dismal last season and will look to maximize the chances this year. Sarfaraz can score briskly and take on bowlers with ease. The Delhi Capitals will need him in the lower middle-order to finish the game. Or, the team management can designate him in the top-order to play at number 3 or number 4 spot.

Mitchell Marsh is the younger brother of Shaun Marsh and the son of former Australian opener Geoff Marsh. Cricket runs in his blood. Mitch is an all-rounder and was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp for the previous two seasons. He clocks 140+ in bowling and is also quite dependable.

Mitch was part of the IPL before he made his international debut for Australia. He was roped in by the Deccan Chargers in 2010. However, Mitchell didn’t get many opportunities in the IPL, though he continued to rise within the Australian national team.

The Delhi Capitals don’t have many all-rounders in their squad. In this case, Mitchell Marsh will be their first choice for the role. Mitchell is a handy cricketer and can be put to use in many situations. He has represented Australia in Test cricket and knows how to handle pressure situations. He can be sent into the top-order as he has done for the Perth Scorchers on many occasions. Or, he can play as a finisher in the middle-order alongside Rishabh Pant/Sarfaraz Khan.

1) Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant is a mainstay in the Indian Cricket team and is their premier wicket-keeper. Pant is a product of U-19 cricket and was a promising talent from the start. He is a prolific scorer and a hard-hitter of cricket balls. Pant is a pocket-sized dynamo that can hammer the best bowling attacks in the world with ease.

He has given umpteen match-winning performances in the IPL and has won matches from hopeless situations. Pant has risen through the ranks and embodies the face of a fearless and courageous cricketer. His heroics down under helped India defeat Australia twice in the Test series.

Delhi Capitals have once again entrusted Rishabh Pant with the responsibility to lead the team. The franchise retained Rishabh Pant ahead of the auction for his utility. Pant has the ability to change the course of the match in no time. He usually bats in the middle-order and has played the role of a finisher for India in recent times. However, he used to open in U-19 cricket and can bat in the top-order if either of the openers sees the slump in the form. Get the latest online betting Apps for IOS and Android here.
