Uttar Pradesh has a big pool of players. Many players who have represented the state in domestic cricket have gone on to represent India. At IPL auctions, players who have represented their nation are tagged as ‘capped’ players, and those who haven’t are categorized as ‘uncapped’ players. In this segment, we shall discuss about:
5 uncapped players from Uttar Pradesh who could attract good IPL deals at IPL 2022 auctions
5) Akshdeep Nath
A vital cog in Uttar Pradesh’s cricket, Akshdeep Nath is a seasoned cricketer. Aksh was vice-captain of India’s U-19 WC winning triumph in 2012 under the leadership of Unmukt Chand. Aksh was not consistent with his performance, thus failing to attract many buyers in the 2020 and 2021 auctions. However, he possesses good hitting skills and is an exceptional fielder. He also keeps behind the wickets. Akshdeep is listed with a base price of INR 20 lac and could be a decent buy for a franchise looking out for a batsman wicketkeeper.
4) Ankit Rajpoot
