Ishan Kishan – 15.25 crore
The wicket-keeper opening batsman, who was released by the Mumbai Indians, will join the MI Paltans again. Mumbai went for him, and when the Ambanis decide to buy anything, there is nothing that can stop them. And that’s the reason they bought Ishan Kishan for a whopping amount of 15.25 crores, which is the highest of the day so far.
Dewald Brevis – 3 crores
The Baby AB entered the auction after a fantastic show at the U19 World Cup. And the 19-year-old was the popular choice among the other franchises as well. But the MI got his at the end for the amount of Rs 3 crore, which is 15 times his base price.
Murugan Ashwin – 1.6 crores
The Tamil Nadu leg spinner was another player bought by MI. Mumbai Indians looking for a good spinner for their rank and M Ashwin can definitely provide them that option. Mumbai spent an amount of INR 1.6 crore on him
Basil Thampi – 30 lakh
The last buy of the day for MI was Basil Thampi. The former SRH pacer was a steal for MI. Bumrah will be sharing the new ball now with Thampi. Mumbai bought Basil Thampi for Rs 30 lakhs.
Mumbai are left with a purse value of INR 27.85 crore for the next day.
