Here are some Cricket Betting Sites list in India and match predictions.
Punjab Kings, went into the auction with the largest purse amount of INR 72 crore. The franchise retained only two players ahead of the auction: Mayank Agrawal (12 crore) and Arshdeep Singh (4 crore). And they ended the auction with some of the big names in their squad. PNKS bought Shikhar Dhawan (8.25 crore), Kagiso Rabada (9.25 crore), Liam Livingstone (11.25 crore), and Jonny Bairstow (6.75 crore). But the most important question is who will be the next successor to KL Rahul. In an interview with News9 Sports, PBKS co-owner Mohit Burman indirectly reveals the name of the next captain of the team.
Mohit Burman expressed that it is an advantage for the team to have an experienced player. He indirectly pointed out the name of Dhawan and said it helps the coaching staff make the right decision. Mohit further added,
“I think it’s a big advantage to have a senior player who has played with you before to lead the team. He [Dhawan] understands the thinking of the coach. He has a good rapport with the coaches and the idea is to give him a strong bunch of players who fill up all the positions.”
Shikhar Dhawan has been a solid campaigner for whatever franchise he has played for in IPL so far. And now, with no KL Rahul at the top, the Punjab Kings needed an experienced player, and Dhawan is the perfect replacement for him. The left-handed opener also has the experience of leading the IPL team in the past. On the other hand, he also led the Indian team against Sri Lanka last July. Mohit Burman concluded,
“Our strategy was to put very strong lieutenants in every position so it would be much easier for the captain to not only lead but be a team player. Therefore, I wanted to give an equal playing side which will come across as a strong team than to have one strong leader.”
The veteran batsman has led the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier.
