Virat called security personnel and asked them to give one of his signed bats to that fan.

The 16th edition has been a successful one for the former RCB captain with the bat. He is currently fifth in the race for the “Orange Cap.” Virat has scored 419 runs in 10 innings at a decent average of 46.56 and a strike rate of 135.16. He has also smashed six half-centuries, which is the most in the season by any batter. Notably, both teams already played a game earlier this season in Bangalore.

It was RCB that won that game by eight wickets. Virat scored an unbeaten 82 off 49 in that match. With the tournament entering the business end, he will look to lead his team to victory and collect two important points to move up on the table.
