Ravi Shastri Believes Rohit Sharma’s Form Is Affecting His Captaincy

Ahead of Mumbai Indians‘ reverse fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Ravi Shastri opened up on Rohit Sharma his batting, captaincy, and team’s performances.

If you start getting on a purple patch where you are scoring runs, the job as a captain becomes much easier. The body language on the field changes and the energy on the field is different. It’s different. As opposed to when you not getting runs, you can go flat – no matter who you are,” Ravi Shastri said. He further empathizes with Rohit Sharma stating that the lack of big players like Kieron Pollard and Jasprit Bumrah has made his work difficult.

The Mumbai Indians team is slowly getting back on track with Suryakumar Yadav coming back to form. Tim David, Tilak Verma, Nehal Wadhera, and others have been contributing to the team’s victory too.
