Royal Challengers Bangalore signs Kedar Jadhav
This is not the first time Kedar Jadhav is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was part of the team for the 2016-2017 seasons wherein he played 17 games and was also a wicket-keeper for them. During the 2022 IPL season, the player was left unsold. “I took a break for a year but I realized I was missing my passion. When I came back to play first-class cricket, I found it very easy. All the experience helped. The hunger was there which was in the early 20s. The hunger to score big runs was there and I felt I can come back and play at all levels and I’ve prepared for it, I’ve always performed well,” Kedar Jadhav said after the 2022 domestic season.
Speaking about Royal Challengers Bangalore, the team has played 8 games so far in the 2023 IPL. However, their performance has been average with 4 wins and 4 defeats. A weak middle-order batting line-up and lack of a domestic spinner are affecting the overall performance of the team. Only a handful of players in the 8 games have stood up according to the need of the competition. Royal Challengers Bangalore now will have to try and win as many games as possible in order to finish in the top 4.
