The aggressive opener knew the importance of powerplay overs on a high-scoring Wankhede wicket. He took on Riley Meredith in the 5th over of RR innings and hit four boundaries to get 16 runs from the over to make it a huge power play for his team.

By the end of the 6th over, Rajasthan Royals were placed at a score of 65-0. While experienced Jos Buttler was playing the role of an anchor, Jaiswal kept playing his shots both against pacers and spinners and never let the run rate reduce in the RR vs MI clash.
