Such players (Virat Kohli) also help the team bring out their best: Tom Moody
Tom Moody isn’t the only one who speaks about the aggressive playing style of Virat Kohli. RCB teammate Mohammad Siraj has time and again spoken about receiving backing from the former skipper. In a conversation with Gaurav Kapur on Breakfast with Champions, Mohammad Siraj explained how fitness standards set by Virat Kohli have helped him drive to do better. The former RCB skipper has been vocal about the importance of fitness which can also be seen in his performance on the field.
“Whether he scores a hundred or zero, he will follow a set routine and will meet you at breakfast and then in the gym. The fitness standards he has set has been just next level. He is not getting relaxed even after achieving so much. He is still hungry and wants to get better. Hats off,” Mohammad Siraj said. RCB won their game against RR by 112 runs. While Virat Kohli got out cheaply in the first innings, he took 2 crucial catches. The victory has given an enormous boost to RCB’s net run rate. They are now at number 5 with 12 points.
