In a major boost for the Mumbai Indians, stylish batsman Suryakumar Yadav has been cleared to rejoin his Indian Premier League (IPL) team after a significant time away from the cricket field. Yadav had been sidelined since December, following an ankle injury he suffered during the T20I series in South Africa.

The National Cricket Academy (NCA) has given the green light for Yadav’s return to the cricketing arena. Fans of the dynamic batsman can rejoice, as he is slated to check into the team hotel on April 5 and will participate in the net sessions with Mumbai Indians, signaling his full return to training.

Surya has cleared all but one routine tests which are mandatory to get RTP (Return To Play) certificate from the NCA. There is one more test left to be conducted on Thursday, after which a clearer picture would emerge, He is batting comfortably and has done all simulations.
