New Zealand wins Pak vs NZ ODI series 2-1
In the series decider of the Pak vs NZ ODI series, Pakistan decided to make a few changes including leaving out Imam-Ul-Haq and Naseem Shah and bringing in Shan Masood and Mohammad Hasnain. Pakistan’s batting line-up had some issues with the bat but Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan helped put up a decent score. In response, Kane Williamson and his team comfortably chased down the target with Glenn Phillips making a century.
During the post-match presentation of the Pak vs NZ game, Kane Williamson said, “It is special, we always know whether it is home or away, it is always tough cricket against Pakistan, they are a very strong side. So to come here and play well as a unit throughout the series and getting a series win is a very good effort by the team and another great opportunity to take a lot of learnings from it as well.”
