T20 World Cup 2022: Indian Pace Attack in Recent Days
Recently concluded Sri Lanka T20I series, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah were only senior players. Although we also saw Siraj who is also now an established bowler in the Indian pace bowling lineup. Harshal Patel got another series to showcase his abilities and did it very well. Avesh Khan was a fresh face in the team and someway he also did a good job.
But one question that every Team India fan is asking that why management is not approaching a left-arm pacer. Last year when India toured Sri Lanka they brought with themselves Chetan Sakariya as the left-arm arm pacer. Former left-arm bowling all-rounder Irfan Pathan open up on the inclusion of a left-arm fast bowler in India’s T20 World Cup 2022 squad. Here are our Cricket betting tips today and upcoming match updates.
Irfan Pathan Asks for A Left- Handed Bowler
“With all these names (the Indian bowlers already part of the squad), I just want to add another name — that of a left-arm bowler, and that can be whoever performs in the IPL — Khaleel Ahmed, Natarajan or Chetan Sakariya. I know Sakariya is a bit rusty at the moment, but if he performs in the IPL, he will be an option. Left is always right!”
Pathan said on Star Sports.
T20 World Cup 2022: Khaleel had appeared last time in a blue jersey in 2019 against Bangladesh in a T20I match. On the other side, Natarajan who had a famous debut against Australia in Border Gavaskar Trophy is now faded away. Last time he appeared in Indian Team in series against England.
After that, he got an injury and from then we did not see him in an Indian jersey. Eventually, Natarajan did not play the last season IPL for his knee surgery recovery. Chetan Sakariya had a massive peak in his career graph last year. He got a chance to play for his IPL franchise Rajasthan Royal in absence of Archer. From there his name came in India’s squad for the Sri Lanka tour where he did a decent job. Since then his name is not appearing for any series of Team India. if you are looking for legit Cricket betting Apps, check it our here on our site.
