Bangladesh are set to host New Zealand for a five-match T20I series in September. This series will wrap up their preparations for the T20 World Cup set to commence on October 17 in the UAE and Oman. Bangladesh are currently facing Australia at home but their limited-overs series against England got postponed. The series against the world’s best team would’ve given them a great idea of where they stand.
However, both the boards mutually decided to postpone the tour to March 2023. Nevertheless, the five T20Is against New Zealand will also keep them in good stead for the mega event in October. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) released the itinerary of the whole tour on Wednesday.
