IND vs WI: Is This the End of Bhuvneshwar Kumar in ODI?
BCCI has announced the team India squad for ODIs and T20 fixtures against West Indies. There have been some massive changes in the squad including Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s absence from the T20 squad. Kumar had a below-average performance in the ODI format against South Africa this month.
Looking at his recent credentials, there is a high possibility that this is the ‘End’ of Bhuvneshar Kumar in the ODI format. The Indian pacer was already under observation for a long time as he has not contributed much in the ODI format.
He will be taking a part in the T20 fixtures against West Indies. Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the whole series. Skipper Rohit Sharma is back on the team after recovering from his injury. Sharma was not able to take part in any game against South Africa.
BCCI has also named Kuldeep Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi to the team. This shows the amount of trust the selection committee has shown in the experienced and the young bowling attack. With Rohit Sharma back in the team, team India will have a fresh start. In addition to that, the former skipper Virat Kohli would be expected to perform as well. Here’s today’s cricket prediction.
