PCB has finally agreed to the request made by the franchises as they have formally approached the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to host the remaining games of the rescheduled 2021 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the UAE.
Meanwhile, the board is expected to face a lot of logistic changes owing to the sudden change in the venue. The franchises will have to think on the lines of arranging flights, hotels, and other things for the players and the other members involved. In addition, June isn’t an ideal month for hosting cricket in UAE as the weather is expected to be very hot and humid.
The Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Wasim Khan opined on the issue stating that the officials remain committed to hosting the sixth edition of the PSL and will do everything possible to make it happen smoothly.
