India will take on New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship in Southampton from June 18-22. The details of their arrival and biosafety measures were shared by ICC in a media release on Saturday. The ICC revealed that Indian players will land in England on June 3 via charter flights with a negative COVID-19 report. Also, the players would have served a 14-day quarantine in India before boarding the flights to the UK. Upon arrival, the players will move to their hotel in Hampshire Bowl, the venue for the final, and will spend a period of managed isolation.
“As per the bio-safety protocols established for the event, in line with UK government and Public Health England requirements, the Indian Men’s team will arrive in the UK on 3 June 2021 via a charter flight and carrying evidence of a negative PCR Test,” ICC said in a media release on Saturday. “Prior to travelling, the party will have spent 14 days in a bio-secure environment in India during which regular testing will have taken place. “Upon landing, they will proceed directly to the on-site hotel at the Hampshire Bowl where they will be tested again before commencing a period of managed isolation.”
The statement also confirmed that the Indian players will undergo regular testing during their quarantine and the restrictions will be eased out with every negative result. The Kiwis, who will play a two-match Test series in England, will transition from ECB’s biosecure environment to WTC bio-bubble on June 15. They will also be tested multiple times before they arrive in Southampton. Here’s our blogspot cricket betting tips. We have full guide when it comes to betting online.
